Since its founding in 1970, Manhattan Theatre Club has grown from a prolific Off-Off-Broadway showcase into one of the country's most acclaimed non-profit theatre organizations. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Lynne Meadow and Executive Producer Barry Grove, MTC produces seven plays per year at the Biltmore Theatre and on its two stages at New York City Center, nurtures the talent of emerging and established playwrights and musical theatre artists through its Play and Musical Theatre Development Programs, and provides innovative arts education to over 5,000 students, teachers and family members across the nation through its Education Program.

In order to serve its growing family of artists and audience members, MTC added a third theatre to its creative campus in the fall of 2003. This new larger venue, the historic Biltmore Theatre on West 47th Street, was extensively restored and is now the only Broadway theatre dedicated to the production of contemporary plays and musicals.

Each year MTC must raise 54% of its annual budget from tax-deductible contribution sources: Individual Giving, Corporations, Foundations, Government Agencies and Special Events. MTC depends upon these funders to maintain its financial stability and commitment to producing new work for the American stage.

If you are interested in making a contribution to MTC, please call us at 212-399-3000, or send it attention:
